When I run localepurge in a terminal, I don't receive output, if triggered with -d (debug option, no output with --debug alternative) outputs:
root at Jarvis:~# localepurge -d

+ '[' -d = -h ']'
+ (( true = 1 ))
+ (( false = 0 ))

When triggered from DPKG, this error is returned:

E: Problem executing scripts DPkg::Post-Invoke 'if [ -x /usr/sbin/localepurge ] && [ $(ps w -p $PPID | grep -c remove) != 1 ]; then /usr/sbin/localepurge; else exit 0; fi'
E: Sub-process returned an error code
