I can confirm that this still occurs in Karmic Someone else I know
bought the same codecs, and needed help from me to install it.
gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad and gstreamer-0.10-fluendo-* have to be
removed in Karmic in order to install gstreamer0.10-fluendo-plugins.
