[Bug 510236] [NEW] xchat does not immediately alert the user that it has disconnected

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xchat

I often switch from a cabled connection to a wireless connection (both
connected in parallel). When this happens, xchat is disconnected, but
does not alert me or change "channelname" to "(channelname)"

I must wait 5-10 minutes for xchat to realize that it is not connected
and reconnect.
