Binary package hint: cups-pdf
When
- and choosing the 4 pages per side layout in the cups pdf printer
- printing a multipage pdf file
it is impossible to get the standard page layout like this:
- page 1: top left
- page 2: top right
- page 3: bottom left
- page 4: bottom right.
The result is the same when printing in a terminal:
lp -o number-up=4 -o number-up-layout=lrtb file.pdf
lp -o number-up=4 -o number-up-layout=tblr file.pdf
