Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: evolution-mapi
Hello
After upgrade to Ubuntu 9.10, i have a noise(clac) in my speakers every 10 seconds when working on my PC.
Looking into a forum i found a solution: disable the following line in /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf
#options snd-hda-intel power_save=10 power_save_controller=N
However this workaround works for some people but for other not. Me of
course is not...
This really seems to be a tempo in the sound controler causing a clac on
stop/start.
Best regards
