Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: grisbi
With Grisbi 0.6.0rc1 and Ubuntu Karmic dealing with currencies transfers can be tricky.
When I try to make a transfer from an account to another with a different currency, no box pops up to ask if the rate/amount are correct. To specify a new rate/amount, I have to:
1- Choose a different currency from the small drop down currency's menu in the transaction form which activates a new box ("change")
2- Click again on the small box "Change" to let the "Exchange rate" box appear and be able to modify any amount.
Moreover, to have the currency's menu appear on the transaction form, one has to activate it on the Edit/Preferences. Failing to do so, no "Exchange rate" box can be activated at all on the transaction form.
This can be confusing, the "Exchange rate" box should automatically appear whenever a transfer between different currencies is requested.
(This bug has also been reported on Mantis)
** Affects: grisbi (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
