[Bug 513739] [NEW] system froze while apt-get install ntop nearly finished

3) i just expected that i can use this tool to watch my networks
4) my system froze. no keybord, no mouse music sounds only tick-tick-tick and so on. desktop was still shown. can't switch to consol modus (ctrl alt f1 (f2 ....). have the system manualy to power of. on reboot got error messages about usb (can't find it in any logfile) then i first got only a console terminal -> logged in and start X, desktop came up but no mouse no icons. type ctrl alt del and "wonder no reboot" the desktop came up normaly and everything works well. try to remove ntop - not finished returned with code 1. why I don't. may be usefull: got one eth0 (connectet to a switch but not active at the moment) and wlan
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 057c:8402 AVM GmbH active. i'am a developer too - 27 years unix (start with system III). don't waste your time with this bug i think there isn't enough information for debuging. have a nice day. my box (vista, suse,ubuntu and solaris 10) is running well again.
