Normal behavior (9.04, 9.10 and others):
- Go to xfce-menu -> settings -> keyboard -> application shortcuts
- assign <Alt> + 't' to command 'xfce4-terminal'
- shortcut shows up as '<Alt>t' and is usable

Observed behavior:
- Go to xfce-menu -> settings -> keyboard -> application shortcuts
- Try to assign <Alt> or <Super> + 't' to command 'xfce4-terminal'
- shortcut using <Alt> shows up as '<Alt><Meta>t'
- shortcut using <Super> shows up as '<Hyper><Super>t'

Additional info:
Happens on a ThinkPad x200 with German keyboard layout and locale 'de_AT.utf8'.
xfce4-keyboard-shortcuts.xml is attached.
