What phill has said pretty much sums it up, get testing.
there are three bugs known that will be an issue:
the release notes link is broken, the installer may freeze in i686, and the
install additional drivers option is missing feedback.

I was asking about the state of play RE: the RC arriving.
I do love the exact phrasing from the -release team, so here's an update :)
