I've been waiting to reply to this to see if I could come up with a
better answer, but the truth is that once IRC was demoted in the
broader Ubuntu community, our communication got quite scattered. It
also happened to be at the same time as some major life changes of
some of our contributors (including me!), so that didn't help.

But most of us still lurk on irc.libera.chat in #xubuntu-devel and
that's probably the most active. It still fits the most naturally into
my own workflows.

We have a presence on the Ubuntu Matrix that a few of us are on, but
it hasn't really taken off.

Thank you for your testing efforts, they are seen even if it doesn't
feel like it :)
