[xubuntu-users] help firefox 2 installation

hi,it's pinehillman.i've got problem with firefox 2.0
installation. since i found firefox 1.5 in my xubuntu
6.06 crashed sometime, i decided to get firefox 2.0
installed using the instruction from psychocats's
ubuntu tutorial home page. but i've got stuffed after
the installation process finished, there is no
response at all when i click the firefox icon on the
panel or in the menu. i don't know how to fix it, i
tried to remove firefox 2 and reinstall firefox 1.5,
it didn't work. i like firefox and really don't want
to reinstall the whole system for that. could anybody
give me a hand? thanks in advance.
