Does Alt+F2 work?
If it does, Alt+F2, xfwm4 should fix this. If it fails to, try
Alt+F2, xfsettingsd
The majority of the time, if xfsettingsd failed to run, you will have a
light grey theme only. It will not be the normal theme and is quite
obvious that it changed.
