[xubuntu-users] wifi interface not starting with Xubuntu 11.10

I recommend remove network-manager and install wicd.
sudo apt-get install -d wicd
sudo apt-get remove network-manager
sudo apt-get install wicd

After this edit file /etc/network/interfaces. You should have like this:
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

All other lines shoud be commented "#". Than you have to restart now and 
after this your connection is ready :)
