[xubuntu-users] Abiword & Libreoffice writer -- "jitters"

Does the font affect how much it jitters? Also, see if it still happens when using the vesa driver (add xforcevesa to grub cmdline)? Which word processing apps other than abiword does it affect - I'm guessing that those using monospace fonts (terminal, leafpad etc.) are fine.
