[xubuntu-users] Wifi on a new computer

I thought when you installed using the liveCD it should automatically detect your wifi and installed properly. Anyway mine is a linux compatible USB wifi adapter.

I have just bought a new laptop for my daughter and installed Xubuntu
12.04 on it. I set it up with the machine linked to my router by cable.
Now I plan to add wifi to it. Yes, my router does include wifi.

I have forgotten how to set this up. Can someone remind me please. I
seem to think it is something like Wicd.

And, so far Xubuntu is looking good.
