Hi,
I know this doesn't help but I've done a clean install of Xubuntu 12.10 and
I have the reverse problem. I can not turn AutoMount off. This is a slight
annoyance as I have many hard disk partitions and I don't want them
mounted by default. I also had a failed install on my Laptop using a live
Xubuntu CD, for the "do some thing else option", when I wanted to do manual
partitioning the main extended partition kept re-mounting defeating Gparted.

Best regards

Dave
