[xubuntu-users] Rhythmbox notifications have disappeared

Hi list,

Just upgraded from XUbuntu 12.04 to XUbuntu 12.10, as many did I guess ! ;-)

Well I am suffering from a regression, if anyone can help :

The way I use RB, I rely essentially on the notification bubbles in the
notification applet in the top panel : I used RB "remotely" (from a
workspace different from the one RB is sitting in), and use the multimedia
keys of my keyboard to operate it. The notification bubbles of RB would
send tell me what song is about to be played, so I could instantly skip to
the next one if I didn't feel like listening to it at that moment. this
made for a very convenient and fast operation.  Worked fine in XUbuntu
12.04.. but no longer in 12.10 :-(

Anyone noticed this ? How to fix it ? Or maybe it's just that I need to set
up something to get it working, and I have already forgotten about it ?
That would be me, typical... if this is the case, thanks for reminding me
what it is that I have to do to get RB's notifications back up...
