Hello all,
This was the first list e-mail I have received since I just joined. I just installed xubuntu-12.04.1 To a old computer, a IBM X86,260mb ram, it is running but pretty slow at times.
I would have used LinuxMint 10, but the computer could not handle it.
I would like to add, this computer had windows_nt 2000 on it, when I got it, and when I tried to use my USB,"broadband device" the windows malware would just shutdown,..after I got the MS malware out of the computer, and installed xubuntu, it accepted the "broad band" device just fine, and connects to interenet,.pretty slow but it dose work.
I do not have or use any windows on any of my computers.
I am wondering though if anyone knows of any "mods" I may be able to do ,to help speed things up ?. One thing, but I don't know that it would make any difference, I don't use any of the XOffice, or office stuff, would it help any to remove that ?
ok well nice to meet everyone, and thanks from,

I thought that... so beta 12.10 is for testing only.
