Thanks for the info. I guessed that would be the case. I don't do file 
sharing with anyone, and I certainly don't go near anything to do with 
Windows. I am just surprised that samba is installed automatically. I 
would expect it to be used by a minority of people, but then perhaps 
that is just me being anti-social!
