[xubuntu-users] 12.10 Display Problem

Hi,
  I installed 12.10 on my new Sony E Series, 17" laptop. When I put the
live cd in and tried xubuntu 12.10, the desktop came up fine. 1920x1080.

But after installation the desktop is split down the middle and wraps
around the sides. Like its off-center or something.

how to fix this?
