Each mail from the list has got a signature with the following content: "unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/xubuntu-users" If this shouldn't work you need to ask the people who run the list, mentioned at the bottom of the page: "xubuntu-users list run by knome at ubuntu.com, lyz at ubuntu.com"
