[xubuntu-users] Upgrading from Ubuntu to Xunbuntu

i'm not an expert
but i think you can use gparted from ubuntu software centre
and shrink the existing partition
then install a new OS in a new partition on the spare space
then if its been a success
copy everything from the old home to the new home.
