[xubuntu-users] Problem With VMwarePlayer and Xubuntu v-13.10 beta 2

I have installed Xubuntu v-13.10 beta 2 in the latest VMware Player.

The installation went well, but when I ran vmware-install pl I got the 
following error message:

This, of course, means that I can't access the Host HD

I found solutions to this problem in google for v-13.04, but they don 
work in this case.

I have v-13.04 installed in another VM and that one can access the Host HD.

I would be most appreciate of help with this.
