Does "telnet www.schneier.com 80" fail? Also, try to add the "-4" and
"-6" options, in turn.
You should try "tcptraceroute www.schneier.com 80", instead of
traceroute. For the record, the last two lines output by that command
are the following here:
23 modwest.cust.blackfoot.net (216.14.240.118) 187.020 ms 186.683 ms 187.683 ms
24 schneier.com (204.11.246.48) [open] 185.806 ms * *
