[xubuntu-users] Aisleriot painfully slow on 14.04

I upgraded to 14.04 and things seemed to be OK, until I tried aisleriot (my favourite freecell.) Suddenly, I was trapped in treacle.

I'm currently downgrading to 13.10.  The whole advantage of Xubuntu for me, running in VirtualBox on a Mac, is speed, but it seems to be a losing battle against the developers.
