[xubuntu-users] Terminal Screen Size

I have been using v 12.04 since it came out. Now that v 14.04 is
available I have been testing it using VBox. I usually wait for the
next version (14.04.1?) to come out before I install it, replacing the
old version. . Meanwhile I have been very pleased so far with the new
version.
Once installed I make a whole load of changes to it, but that is the
beauty of Linux, being able to customise so easily. One query though. I
do use the terminal screen regularly and I find that each time I open
it up it is not maximised. So, up to now I have always made a small
change in the following hidden file in my home folder,
.config/Terminal/terminatrc
Then the terminal screen is always maximised when I open it up.
However, in 14.04 I tried to do just that only to find the the above
file is missing. The .config folder is there but there is no Terminal
folder included. That is a surprise. The terminalrc file in 12.04 has
36 lines of configuration. I can't believe that 14.04 no longer has any
need of it.
Can anyone shed any light on this please?
Thanks
Neil
