[xubuntu-users] 14.10, keyboard map seems wrong for GUI login

Specifically it's the \ key that isn't working.  If I send the \ using
the on-screen keyboard and the rest with the physical keyboard then I
can login OK.

This problem is specific to 14.10, I have the passwords with \ working
OK on 14.04 systems.
