[xubuntu-users] SOLVED: System can't boot on kernel after update. Can you help?

Sorry for the rapid fire posts here but it seems I've solved the problem
detailed in my original post after digging around a bit more. It was a
problem with the NVIDIA driver.

I followed the instructions in this post

And things work fine again.
