I use SAMBA instead of shared folder. It allows me to access XUbuntu shared
folder.
Quite fast.

Is anyone using xubuntu/ubuntu as VMware guest? Is its shared folders
working properly for you?

I found it is extremely slow or not working at all for me, and found many
