Menu bar and title bar cannot be changed for Gnome apps. If you dislike
Gnome apps, you should use another calculator. Perhaps galculator is to
your taste.
sudo apt update -qq && sudo apt install galculator
Like gnome-calculator it handles the "." vs "," automagically and both
are GTK3 apps. The difference between gnome-calculator and galculator
is, that galculator doesn't show what you type by one line.
You likely could build older versions of mate-calc [2], such as 1.8.0,
they are GTK2, but apart from this like gnome-calculator, but with the
wanted menu bar and title bar, unfortunately they can't handle "." vs
"," automagically.
The calculator from fox-toolkit [3] has got no menu bar, but at least a
title bar. It doesn't automatically handles "." vs "," and also doesn't
show what you type in a single line, but it should be easy to build and
perhaps you like what it looks like.
There are other calculators available, e.g. a Qt based for KDE [4],
sudo apt update -qq && sudo apt install kcalc
or the enlightenment calculator [5].
