It looks like you installed WPS from a deb file, not a PPA.

https://www.addictivetips.com/ubuntu-linux-tips/install-wps-office-on-linux/

So, what has happened is that, with the newer version of Xubuntu, a
conflict has arisen between the older version of WPS and the current
version of Xubuntu. The solution: WPS needs to release a newer version
that uses the newer, updated library to resolve the conflict.

In the meantime, you could try downloading and re-installing the WPS DEB
file again via gdebi (see my review of 18.04 at
https://linuxatty.wordpress.com/2018/07/23/review-galago-pro-from-system-76-and-xubuntu-18-04-bionic-beaver/
about the section about gdebi).

That option, however, may create a conflict with an already installed
library. The solution then is to compile and install WPS from source.
You will need to do that on your own.

PS- keep msg on list, as the info is being posted as a benefit to all.
Most folks -- including me -- are not able to provide personal software
support. I respond to queries because I see a benefit to others about
issues that may be common to all of us. The point of open source, after
all, is to be open and inclusive.

PPS- hence, queries need to have some specificity (not a problem here,
but an issue I've seen with several other posts). Complaints that "my
computer is not working anymore" are not helpful to anyone. Folks should
provide specific info about the problem with specific hardware and
software info if they want a response.
