[xubuntu-users] Screen resolution problem

Thanks Nino.
I changed the resolution and refresh rate in the file suggested. Saved it. Closed it. And then opened it to be sure it was changed.
But when I restart the computer the resolution is not changed and when I examine the file I changed, it has reverted to its former state.
Thus something else must be writing that file each time the machine starts up.
