[xubuntu-users] keyboard and touchpad stop working after a few hours

I'm running Xubuntu 16.04 on a Lenovo laptop. A few weeks ago my 
keyboard stopped working properly. Its works fine after booting up and 
logging in. However, after a few hours it stops working completely. No 
keys work, touchpad does not work. After a reboot, works well again for 
a few hours but then breaks again. Any suggestions?
