[xubuntu-users] 20.04 installation: partitioning problem

I am a regular user of Xubuntu since version 16; I tried to install xubuntu
20.04 and the installation failed, hanging with a message saying that it
was not possible to format my home partition. I ran the installation
process from a USB stick as I did many other times (I normally reinstall
the OS twice each year). The disk is OK -- I installed Linux Mint 19.3
without a single problem, but I would prefer to keep xubuntu.
I append a system information. The only problem that I detect is that I
have a partition for /usr/local not detected by the system information
(/dev/sda9).
Thank you!
guido (Northern Italy)
