[xubuntu-users] lightdm greeter suddenly appeared and I can't get rid of it

I was using the X.Org X Nouveau driver and switched to the proprietary 
NVIDIA 450 tested driver and the problem disappeared.  This isn't a fix 
but it's the best I can come up with for now.
