Hi,

first you wrote that it boots very slowly. Since you wrote that
shutdown is also slow, I got the impression that it successfully boots.
The next time you claim that it fails to boot.

What exactly happens?

How did you install it? What happens if you boot a Xubuntu live media?
Is it slow (,too)? If so, run the commands I already mentioned [1] and
report back.

Which BIOS menu mentions Ubuntu?
Setting up BIOS default options doesn't delete Ubuntu flavours from the
SSD.

Please follow mailing list etiquette. Don't use a meaningless subject
such as "Please help". Don't sent freakish formatted HTML mails with
line breaks at around 30 chars. Don't top post. At the very least keep
the meaningful subject "20.04 boots very slowly..." if you shouldn't
know how to avoid freakish formatted emails or top posting.
