[xubuntu-users] Package manager,

Xubuntu friends, I have removed "gnome-software" in favor of "synaptics"
for package management. In Xubuntu 21.10 the notifications and automatic
updates produced errors and were generally misleading.
I have been using Ubuntu/Debian since 2004 and participate in the local
GLUG.
