Xubuntu is an excellent OS.

What puts new users off is its appearance. This is evident in the most
downloaded distros.

Suggestion:
Theme: Orchis-Light; Orchis-Dark-Compact.
Icons: Yaru-blue

It looks modern, beautiful and light.
