Your Firefox and Thunderbolt preferences are stored in your home 
directory under .mozilla and .thunderbolt

about recent changes with a new installation of Firefox 147.

The location of these files under the snap installation is:

~/snap/firefox/common/.mozilla
~/snap/thunderbird/common/.thunderbird
