Google for "Tailor"; git *is* an option for the people who know what
they're doing: I'm currently using 4 different VCSes for my XEmacs
work (5, if you count the DNS configs under RCS).  git is not an
option for those who need their hands held.  I hope you can see where
that leads.

*I* don't know.  If RMS is willing to get behind it, you could
probably get Bazaar 3 installed.  But at the moment, everybody is
going "I hope somebody has filed a support request for this".  Karl is
doing most of the legwork on that, but he has no special pull with
the savannah-hackers.
