I think most of the comments on this thread should have rather been on
the bzr-l10n thread, so it is needed. QED

I have been struggling this year to keep up with the mailing list,
(still 100 behind which would explain my lag and ignorance of newer
developments).  I keep on postponing posting about this because I
prefer to be up to date before making any comments, but it keeps on
eluding me.
I wanted to suggest that the user support list should be split out,
because old messages on such a list could easily be ignored when
coming back from holiday, or when you don't have much time.
Its all mixed at the moment so I stay scared that I missed some
important dev communications and don't seem to catch up.
Reading the mailinglist all weekend also prevents me from doing what I
like more: coding :(

So maybe I should just read more selectively..
