How to store binaries along tree

Would be great but this requires all clients to install it, and I don't
see an easy way to restrict it to one repository -- sure, I can run some
checks each time, but I would like to have a less invasive method.
TortoiseSVN lets you for instance register hooks per-working-copy, which
makes the installation easier. I didn't spot something similar for
Bazaar yet. It seems to me that a hook should be enough, as I can setup
the bin directory on first checkout when the hook runs. Gotta give it a
shot!
