Summary: Rhythmbox crashes when iPod mounts
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: rhythmbox
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: terasurfer at gmail.com
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

Using rhythmbox 0.8.8, connecting an iPod (20G 4th gen) causes rhythmbox to
crash with the following printed to terminal:

GLib-ERROR **: gmem.c:141: failed to allocate 1999580988 bytes
aborting...

Otherwise, the iPod works fine; mounts cleanly and works great with gtkpod.
However, any time rhythmbox is running and the iPod is mounted, rhythmbox
crashes. This was tested on two machines with the same result.
