Thanks for your bug. The hoary version of rhythmbox has no ipod feature and uses
a patch for this which is not optimal. The current breezy version is much better
for that. Maybe you can try this one?
Can you get a backtrace of the crash with the hoary version too? You can get it
from the bug-buddy dialog to send the bug upstream.
