I replaced /usr/bin/gst-compprep-0.8 with an empty shell script to get dpkg into
order.. I then purged all the gstreamer packages and installed ubuntu-desktop
(since it was removed when gst* was purged) which pulled some gstreamer packages
back in.  gst-compprep ran fine for the ubuntu-desktop installation deps,
however when I then tried to install gstreamer0.8-plugins gst-compprep went back
to hanging during the gstreamer0.8-a52dec postinst.

I hear gst-compprep is gone in 0.10 and I'm assuming Dapper will be shipping
0.10 when all is said and done so maybe this doesnt really matter anyways.
