[Bug 38185] Re: transparent panel: strange color problems

I am unable to recreate this bug even after setting the panel background to "transparent" with a color white (#FFFFFF), and a tiled background.

Maybe the reporter had chosen a different color for the panel background, and had transparency set to a value other than 100% leading to the observed tint?

Can be reporter please provide exact information on how to recreate the bug, or verify if it is, indeed, just the color tint showing up?
