The problem is still there.
But now it seems to me to be just a GUI problem: While all the other fields in the connection bar (well, the bar just under the menu bar) switching when I choose a Bookmark, the protocol drop down botton stays on "FTP". But it stays so also with connections permitting only ssh. And when I try manually, only ssh is acepted

So its more obscurity than a security leak and the Severity could be decreased.
