[Bug 35475] Re: Deskbar is unselectable when using xserver-xgl

I can confirm this bug. I can't type anything into the deskbar when running XGL. I can paste text into the deskbar, but I can't type anything.

It only happens when running XGL. When I stop the XGL server, deskbar works fine -- but when I start XGL back up, the deskbar stops working.

Could this be due to the way XGL treats windows? I've had times when XGL causes the focus to be placed on the parent window instead of the child -- maybe clicking in the deskbar merely focuses on the panel?
