Thanks for your report. I'm going to close it. It's very hard to follow
up on it because it lists numerous issues. It would help if you'd either
file a separate bug for eacht issue or since you're suggesting to change
the defaults to discuss this first, the ubuntu-art mailing list would be
a good place for that.
