[Bug 29425] Re: rectangular buttons in titlebar

Apparently aesthetics doesn't matter. Once again, the default theme
should attempt to be aesthetically pleasing and functional for a given
target audience (yet to be defined.)

Since free software is infinitely customizable, I suggest that the user
apply their own theme to meet their needs.

Ultimately there are _many_ problems with the wide buttons. A few possible reasons for this are:
 1) It is particular to one individual. What if someone wants them smaller or even wider still -- is the design pattern subject to the whim of whomever decides to place a bug report?
 2) Aesthetically, the wide buttons create inconsistencies with the rest of the look -- notice the aspect ratio in comparison with an average distribution of buttons across the look.
 3) For an average user with average motor controls, the current button size is more than adequate. Perhaps this would be more well suited for an accessibility look?

Sincerely,
TJS
